Bees Class Webpage - Reception and Year 1

Hello again from Bees class!

We have 2 teachers in our class called Mrs Moyse and Mrs Wierchzleyska. We also have 2 LSAs helping us called Mrs Boobyer and Mrs Crook.

In our class we have some year one children and some reception children.

We are all looking forward to the summer term!

Our teachers have lots of exciting things for us to do this term. Our topic this term is "All around us", we will be doing some geography when we look at parking in the triangle of roads around school. We will also be looking at different foods and which parts of the world they come from.

We will be talking about and looking at different sculptures. We will create our own sculptures from lots of different materials- Mrs Boobyer will help us with this!

In the summer term we enjoy playing on the field and, when the weather is fine, we have our packed lunches outdoors.
After half term we will be swimming each week in the school swimming pool. Later in the summer term our topic will be seaside holidays. We will find out all about seaside holidays nowadays and in the past. If you have any seaside memorabilia at home we would be most grateful!

Later in the term we will be going on our school trip. In P.E, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, we will be practicing our running, jumping, and throwing skills to help us prepare for our sports day in July. Bees class will be learning lots of new things and having fun during the summer term. Our teachers make our learning interesting and fun for everyone. We all enjoy school, work hard, try our best, and care for each other.
