News from Y5 - September 2009

Class 5 are looking forward to going swimming this term at Quantock Lodge swimming pool. We will be reading and writing poems during English lessons and working on calculations and problem solving in Maths lessons. Science lessons will be spent doing practical activities about solids, liquids and gases. French studies will continue with Dr. Johnson and when he visits on a Thursday, he will be supporting us while we learn about the Ancient Greeks. We are looking forward to Art lessons because we are going to do still life drawings.
